1. What does Redlaw Publishing publish?
Redlaw Publishing is an independent publisher of original ebooks and audiobooks across horror, military science fiction and cosmic comedy. Our stories range from tense tales of survival and interstellar conflict to absurd adventures involving robots, bureaucracy and a universe that is not especially well managed.
2. Who are the authors published by Redlaw Publishing?
Our current pen names are Brock Vane, T.J. Straker and Milton Nebulon. Each writes in a distinctive area: Brock Vane writes atmospheric and survival horror, T.J. Straker writes military science fiction, and Milton Nebulon writes absurd science fiction and cosmic comedy.
You can learn more about them on our Authors page.
3. What is cosmic comedy?
Cosmic comedy is science fiction that explores enormous ideas—such as consciousness, artificial intelligence, space travel and humanity’s place in the universe—through humour and absurdity. Milton Nebulon’s stories add confused robots, impossible administrative systems and suspicious amounts of intergalactic paperwork.
4. Are all Redlaw Publishing titles available as both ebooks and audiobooks?
Not necessarily. Some titles are published as audiobooks, some as ebooks, and others may be available in both formats. The format information shown near the top of each book page tells you which edition is currently available.
5. Where can I buy or listen to the books?
Each book page contains links to the retailers currently carrying that title. These may include Spotify, Audible, Kobo, Apple Books and other ebook, audiobook or library services. Availability can differ between titles, retailers and countries, so only links confirmed for that particular publication are displayed.
6. Do any of the books belong to a series?
Yes. Some Redlaw Publishing titles form part of a larger series. For example, Brock Vane’s Dead Britain series follows the developing catastrophe from different locations and perspectives across Britain.
When a title belongs to a series, its book page identifies the series and its position within it. You can also follow the series link to discover the related books.
7. How are the audiobooks narrated?
Narration varies between publications. An audiobook may use human narration or a clearly identified digital or synthetic voice. Where relevant, narration information is provided on the individual book page so listeners can make an informed choice before following a retailer link.
8. Are the books suitable for all ages?
Suitability depends on the title. Redlaw Publishing’s horror and military science-fiction stories may contain violence, frightening situations, death, psychological tension or other mature themes. Cosmic-comedy titles are generally lighter in tone but may still explore adult ideas and philosophical themes.
Please read the description and any available extract or sample before purchasing or listening. Parents and guardians should use their own judgement when choosing titles for younger readers.
9. How can I contact Redlaw Publishing about reviews, rights or permissions?
Please use our Contact page for review and media enquiries, rights and permissions requests, questions about a publication, or reports of incorrect retailer information. Include the book’s title and enough information for us to understand your enquiry. Please do not include passwords, payment details or other sensitive personal information.
